3rd Generation Family Owned and Operated

In northwest Ohio many local funeral homes have been acquired by national or international funeral conglomerates. We proudly remain family-owned and independent. Now in the third generation of Walker family ownership, we pride ourselves on knowing our client families, serving them well, and supporting our communities.

A funeral is the one time that all the people who knew someone gather together to mourn, remember, and celebrate the life of that person. We believe that each funeral should be a special reflection of each individual life. Our highly skilled and dedicated staff help guide each family through the process of creating their own unique celebration of life. We then affirm and support those choices and follow through on every detail.

Choices

We offer more options than any other funeral home. Special music to play at the service or visitation; drive by a special place in the procession; have a dove release; video tributes; collage keepsakes; catering; and many other options are available exclusively at Walker to help celebrate and commemorate each memory.

Price & Value

As in any profession or occupation, all funeral homes and funeral directors are not equal. We understand that we have only one opportunity to perform our work properly and with sensitivity. There are other funeral homes that proclaim low price but must then cut corners in staffing, facilities and procedures. Not the case here. We recruit and retain the best staff possible—our professionals provide consistently outstanding care to those we serve. Our facilities are all recently renovated and are superior to any in the region. Every family we serve receives a follow-up survey that we take very seriously. For 2006, 94% of those families rated their overall satisfaction as excellent—not good, but excellent. 100% of families surveyed stated they would recommend our services to others. We believe in delivering exceptional value to our client families at a fair price.

Before & After The Funeral

We provide free assistance with preplanning. You may choose to guarantee the cost of tomorrow’s funeral at today’s prices by pre-paying for services either all at once or over a period of time. We are the only funeral home in the area that offers complete bereavement support and follow up during and after the funeral process. We have resources to loan and refer you to should you need or desire assistance.
